The study room in the Agnes Mongan Center for the Study of Prints, Drawings and Photographs is open to the public Tuesday through Friday from 2:00 to 4:45 p.m. and on Saturdays, September through May, 10:00 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.

The departments of Paintings, Sculpture, and Decorative Arts, and Modern and Contemporary Art maintain files for every object in the permanent collection. These files are available to the public. To inquire about European paintings, sculpture, and decorative arts created through the year 1900 (also 20th-century works in the Wertheim collection), please call (617) 496-3671 or email artmuseums_psda@harvard.edu. For European and American paintings, sculpture, and decorative arts created after 1900, please call Jessica Ficken at (617) 496-1822.

Appointments to view objects in the study rooms of the Arthur M. Sackler Museum must be scheduled in advance by contacting one of the following departments: Ancient Art, (617) 495-3393; Asian Art, (617) 495-2391; Islamic and Later Indian Art, (617) 495-1195.

Anyone may visit the Busch-Reisinger Museum study room without an appointment to examine artwork normally kept in storage. The study room is open to the public Tuesday through Friday from 2:00 to 4:45 p.m. To schedule an appointment for individuals and classes at other times, please call the department at (617) 495-2317.
