Arthur M. Sackler Museum
One of our fourth-floor teaching galleries will be dedicated to three installations accompanying this popular course taught by professor Henri Zerner and other members of Harvard's Department of History of Art and Architecture. Each installation brings together diverse media and unusual groupings of objects, including works that are seldom on display. The first rotation (September 2–October 12) focuses on painting techniques and pictorial space; the second (October 16–November 8) on sculpture, printmaking, and artistic process; and the third (November 13, 2009–January 17, 2010) on photography and abstraction.
Coordinated by Michelle Lamunière, John R. and Barbara Robinson Family Assistant Curator of Photography, Harvard Art Museum/Fogg Museum.
