This exhibition has been organized by Jordan Kantor, 1999 Andrew W. Mellon Intern in the Print Department, Fogg Art Museum, and doctoral candidate in the Department of the History of Art and Architecture, Harvard University.

The exhibition was made possible by the support of numerous donors. We are especially grateful to several who wish to remain anonymous; the directors of Artemis/C. G. Boerner; David Becker; Alan and Suzanne Dworsky; Lombard, Odier & Cie; Paul and Nancy Morgan; Lucy Rowland; Peter Schabacker; Joseph and Betsey Schildkraut; Alan and Marianne Schwartz (Shapero Foundation); Philip and Lynn Straus; and Melvin R. Seiden and Janine Luke, whose gift is in honor of Philip and Lynn Straus. The accompanying catalogue was generously supported by Robert and Barbara Wheaton, the Edison Family Foundation, and the Fanny and Leo Koerner Charitable Trust.
