Landmarks of World Art and Architecture
February 12 through May 10, 2009 Organized in conjunction with the undergraduate course Landmarks of World Art and Architecture, taught by Professor Neil Levine and members of Harvard's Department of History of Art and Architecture, this exhibition introduces students to a range of analytical methods and to a forum for observation and discussion of original art objects in the Art Museum collections. Works from a wide variety of historical contexts provide the basis for students' training in asking questions fundamental to art history. Coordinated by Michelle Lamunière, Charles C. Cunningham Sr. Assistant Curator of Photographs, Harvard Art Museum/Fogg Museum. |
