The Agnes Mongan Center houses the collections, study room, and curatorial offices of the departments of prints, drawings, and photographs.

The study room is open to the public Tuesday through Friday from 2:00 to 4:45 p.m. or by appointment, call 617-384-8310. During the academic year, it may also be open Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Contact the study room supervisor (mongan@fas.harvard.edu) before your visit to confirm open hours.

The departments of Paintings, Sculpture, and Decorative Arts (for European art made before 1900); American Painting, Sculpture, and Decorative Arts (for American art made before 1900); and Modern and Contemporary Art (for European and American art made after 1900) maintain files for every object in the permanent collection. These files are available to the public by appointment, and we invite you to take advantage of this great resource while following certain guidelines. If you are interested in viewing curatorial files or works of art in storage, please contact the appropriate curatorial assistant in advance of your visit.
