In support of HUAM's mission, the Straus Center's conservators, scientists, and art historians collaborate to preserve, treat, research and document works of art, and disseminate the results of their investigations. Through conservation practice and the scientific examination of Harvard's collections, the Center provides teaching, training, and service to students, scholars, artists, conservators, collectors, and cultural institutions.
