This website exhibition/tour was conceived, selected, and written by Kimberly Mims, 2000-2002 Werner and Maren Otto Curatorial Intern in the Busch-Reisinger Museum, working with Peter Nisbet, Daimler-Benz Curator of the Busch-Reisinger Museum. It has been made possible by the Museum's Eda K. Loeb Fund.

Hecht Design designed the site, with programming by Robert J. Wilt.

The text was edited by Dawn Carelli, working with the Department of Publications at the Harvard University Art Museums (Evelyn Rosenthal, Head of Publications). Photography was undertaken by the staff of the Digital Imaging and Photography Department at the Harvard University Art Museums (Peter Siegel, Claire Lesemann, Katya Kallsen, Jay Beebe, and Allan MacIntyre). Necessary conservation work and technical analysis in the Straus Center for Conservation and Technical Studies at the Harvard University Art Museums were undertaken by Craigen Bowen and the staff of the Paper Laboratory, and by Tony Sigel and the staff of the Objects Laboratory. Essential technical support and advice at the Harvard University Art Museums was provided by Sam Quigley (Director of Digital Information and Technology), Andy Gelbert (Manager of Application Development and Support), and Jonathan Drew (Web Developer).

Assistance with video components was provided by Roberto Mori (Instructional Media Services, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Harvard University) and Forrest Glick (Senior Web Design and Multimedia Specialist, harvard@home, Harvard University). Special thanks to Bruce Jenkins, Curator of the Harvard Film Archive.

At the Busch-Reisinger Museum, Laura Muir (Charles C. Cunningham Sr., Assistant Curator) wrote the texts about the Lyonel Feininger photograph and the anonymnous photograph of a stage production by Kurt Schmidt, and Lisa Lee (Curatorial Assistant) assisted with researching and acquiring reproduction permissions.
